Amber in color with a small head. Aroma was fruity and sweet spices. Taste was also fruity and sweet spices.

Aroma is Belgian yeast, nutmeg. Taste follows, caramel, bread, fruit. Nice balance.

At Philly location: brownish. X-mas spice aroma with some tripel notes. Taste is spicy and golden monkey in the back. Meh.

Draught @ Valhalla, Manhattan (Mar 2024). Clear copper brown with a small foamy beige head, caramel-dried fruit aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter caramel taste with alcohol undertones, dried fruits, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Smooth and balanced.

Clear orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, herbs, dark malt, clove. Taste of cinnamon, dark malt, raisins, clove.

Smooth mild beginning. Spices, grain. Slightly sweetish. The beer is round and mild, hints of grain with a fruity spiced finish. Nice.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some nutmeg and cinnamon with a bit of light fruits and sweet grains backbone. Flavor has cinnamon and nutmeg throughout with sweet grains and just a hint of light fruits in the finish.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep amber copper with a finger of beige head that dissipates quickly. Nutmeg and cinnamon dominate the nose with some Belgian candi sugar notes and citrus as it warms. Palate has more of the same with nutmeg, cardamom and cinnamon spice dominating again. Citrus and cranberry skin dryness on the finish.
