2022 bottle shared at home with the boys. Intense red grapes show, some berries, pleasant tannins, fruity-leathery funk. Acidity is sophisticated, somehow feels sweetish almost. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Quite liked it.

That's a lot of jammy grape notes, medium funk, gorgeous clear red color, tannic finish. Lots of berry notes upfront and oaky throughout.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle with a best before date of 06-02-2032. Aroma is grape forward and fruity with medium light grape must note and tannins. Light concord grape type aroma, but also some tart cherry notes. Hints of grain and light alcohol notes. Faint earthy, herbal notes and hints of oak. Pours a slightly hazy, orangish red color with a medium large, medium thick, pinkish head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. No lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness and acidity with hints of grain. Light bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong grape notes with medium light tannin and must notes. A bit of a berry note and concord grape flavor with hints of cherry and lemon as well. Hints of oak. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid wild ale. Really nice, complex grape notes. Alcohol is well hidden and there are nice, fermentation notes.

Bottle: Poured a bright reddish color ale with a nice large foamy head with OK retention with some small lacing. Aroma of fresh fruity grape notes with some vinous notes and light tart notes. Taste is also a mix of fresh juicy red grapes notes with a vinous feel, some funky notes with a tart finish. Body is full for style with good carbonation. I loved this one and it tasted like a fine balanced funky red wine.

fruity tart and sour aroma, red grapes, white wine, warming red wine note, vinegar salad dressing. flavor is tart and vinegar with very nice sweeter red wine notes as well as more sour white wine notes. the vinegar salad dressing component reminds me of the flemish sour style, or some of the sour brune. the red and green grapes makes the beer more drinkable, bit sweeter, bit more fruity bit more mellow. Quite interesting, many flavors to explore, interesting sour.

750ml bottle I bought from Shelter DC, pours a garnet amber, clear, finger of creamy white head. Nose has a lot of cherry, lambrusco, soft wheat, a little tomato or maybe quince paste. Flavor is more straight forward with raspberry and cherry and cab franc, it's sweet with quite a bit of young beer clearly in the blend. Finishes off dry, fairly long but fairly dry too. Interesting.
