Swing top bottle from Tbone, thanks! Dark brown color. Spicy malt flavor. Anis. Full bodied, hardly any carbon. Low on aroma. Caramel. Only a very soft, spicy aroma. Not flawless but a quite likeable brew.

Draught @ SOPP ’10. Rated on 29.07.2010
Aroma has banana esthers, yeasty notes and some ripe fruits. Flavour has ripe bananas, some warming alcohol and lots of yeasty notes. Quite close to their Sahti.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx & brunnsbe! Cloudy copper colour, no head. Sweet nose with banana, caramel and bread. Medium-full bodied with soft mouthfeel, no carbonation. Rye and figs, evident yeast character. No bitterness. Dangerously drinkable.

Swing top bottle (Arkadia, BB 12/2010)
Had this earlier on draught @SOPP, but rating from this bottle. Dark brown color, not much head. Raisiny, dark malty and yeasty aroma. Low carbonation. Medium-bodied. Flavor has raisins, prunes, some banana ... overall sweetish and sticky. Aftertaste is a bit hoppy and alcoholic. On draught this was more sticky and more sweet. This celebration beer is like an average Sahti.

(Draught at SOPP’10) Poured brown and cloudy. No head appeared. Aroma contained malts and sweetness. Palate was sticky and medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, chocolate, sweetness and mildly saltiness. Aftertaste was malty and mildly bitter. Disguised sahti?
