Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, biscuit, ryebread, wort. Taste medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long bready finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily carbonation is soft.

500ml bottle. Clear, faint, mahogany colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet, muggy, grainy, wet strawy aroma, mouldy, fungous, asparageous. Taste is artificially sweet, root beer like. Disastrous, undrinkable.

Bottle from Voldby. Clear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and grainy. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Has little to do with a porter. 110315

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Lacks roast and chocolate. More dunkel than porter. Watery palate. Avoid.

Bottle from the HerbFest in Dresden. Pours dark amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma is light treacle. Flavor is pretty brown sugar treacle. Very far from dry. Not a trace of bitter.

50cl fles, 3.5%, hedler dun rood/bruin met witte kraag. aroma komt nat moutig binnen, gewoonweg weeïg, zoetig en caramel smaken zijn MEGA suikerzoet. caramel, graan/mout, maar jonge jonge wat is dit spul enorm zoet zeg, lijkt wel gewoonweg puur suikerwater met wat caramel. dik mondgevoel terwijl de body best meevalt, rozijn/pruim qua fruitigheid, barley mout en bruine suiker. afdronk caramel, wat droog maar naast het feit dat het bier gewoon te zoet is heeft het ook helemaal niets met een porter te maken, heb de 50 cl dan ook niet opgedronken. Dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, Schokolade. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, Schokolade, würzig.

Flasche aus einem Getränkemarkt in Sebnitz (Aug. 2012). - Rubinrotbraun, sahniger beigefarbener Schaum. Duftet kirschig, honigähnlich, schwach malzig. Schmeckt sehr süß und mild mit ganz leichten Süßkirscharomen, künstlich sirupartig. Schaler süßlicher Nachgeschmack ohne eine Spur von Bittere. - Eher Limonade als Bier, wäre da nicht ein leichtes Malzaroma. Als Bier mißlungen. Freilich ist ein ostdeutscher Porter nicht mit einem englischen Porter zu vergleichen: es ist trotz des identischen Namens eine andere Biersorte und sollte daher nicht mit klassischem Porter in einen Topf geschüttet werden.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus, Ansjelaah and Joes. Amber color, small off - white head. Smell malts, lightly smoked. Taste malts, sweetness, slightly caramel and sugar. Low body, low carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Amber to copper coloir with a small off-white head. Smells malts, smoked, herbs. Tastes very sweet, malty.. Like a German maltsdrink. Thin to medium body, low carbo.
