Finnish export version of Höga Kusten, lower in alcohol.

The bridge between ale & lager.
The town of Sollefteå in Northern Sweden is famous for having one of the highest coastlines in the country. in 1857, inspired by the bridge leading into the town and crossing over the River Ångerman, brewmaster August Zeunerts created a beer that would also act as a bridge; one that would bring lager and ale together in a smooth, refreshing blend. Still brewed, over 150 years later, Zeunerts High Coast or Höga Kusten, is this beer. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do brewing it. Skål (Cheers)!

Oooh yeah, this one’s "all mine", bought in Finland, shared with ogivlado. Not sure but a thanks to a friend who carried some of my beers to Croatia might be in order, so a "thanks Mišo!" goes here. Anyway. Golden body, full and dull. The same 2 adjectives can be used for the malty nose, polleny/flowery in a bad way. Empty sweetish, vaguely polleny taste, slightly oily. Better than the nose, overall hardly good, but not particularly bad. Unless you look at the style, then there’s just no excuse.

Can 500ml (K-Citymarket, Vasa, BB 08/2011)
Pale amber color, good cloudy white head, some lace. Bready malty, a bit sticky nose. Light to medium-bodied. Quite watery. Light caramel, some iron and sweet maltyness. Not the most horrible Swedish bulk lager - probably ok after sauna served icecold.

Canned, thanks oh6gdx! Deep golden, faint head. Fruity nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel and light body. Butterty and lagerl-like, low on hops, dull malt character, near no bitterness.
