At only 3.5%, Iron Age has an outstanding depth to it. Ruby red in colour, it is packed with aromatic fruity hop characteristics (the initial hop bitterness is balanced with a smooth malty caramel body and a complexion of rich fruity aromas with hints of berry fruit). Available in a 330ml bottle or a larger 500ml to share, Iron Age is great partner to hearty food dishes. Anyone for seconds?

Old rating from 2014 - Pint from the cask, pours dark brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of red berries, earth, hay, flora, caramel, grass & sweet malt. Medium body. Earthy medium bitter finish

Bottle. Amber color. Biscuit, red fruit and a soft hop character in both aroma and flavor. Hint of toffee. Thin, but enough flavor to make this beer enjoyable.

Bottle 500ml. Dark brown colour, small white head. Toasted, a bit coffeish aroma. Light-bodied. Toasted, a bit bitter, bready. Coffee in the aftertaste.

Bottle 50 cl. Deep red, clear with a minimum white head. Aroma of caramel, hops and malt. Light bitterness with a short caramel end.

Bottle in Stockholm. Pours clear dark chestnut with medium white head. Aroma is caramel, hazelnut, brown sugar, soy sauce and hints of Vegemite. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is medium long with notes that follow the nose.

Bottle picked up from Watford M&S. A mostly clear copper brown coloured pour with a loose off white head. Quiet a bit of yeast at the bottle. Aroma is sweet nutty toffee malts, brown sugars, copper, earthy hop, some jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of rough grainstore malts, hint of smoke, semi sweet toffee, Firm earthy piney bitter. A little biting yeast in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, lowish carboantion, semi drying, hint of chalky.
