Timothy's Monster 2022 was aged for 8-12 months in Bourbon barrels from Maker's Mark, Clermont Springs and Buffalo Trace. We then added freshly roasted Ugandean cacao beans, Pala coffee beans and Madagascan vanilla beans.

-1 point for the ridiculous, irritating and superfluous wax. Pours viscously, building a small russet head with some effort; black beer. Coffee, cacao, boozy (rum, Bourbon, whisky...) Earthy flavour, Bourbon with vanilla, some coffee and cacaopowder - and, more important, balance! Retronasal the coffee reappears in force. Full bodied, chewy, viscous, alcoholheat. Aftertaste is black chocolate with alcoholheat. Very balanced, if sweet - not easy in this type: good!
