I Honey Gold er anvendt lyse malte sammen med Leatherwood honning fra Tasmanien. Leatherwood honning er en af de mest aromatiske og blomstrede honninger, hvormedden som smagsgiver er med til at give Honey Gold en dejlig afrundet smag og aroma.
Øllen blev udviklet i anledning af kronprinseparrets bryllup i 2004, hvor øllen ved ølfestivalen samme år i konkurrence med 23 danske og udenlandske øl blev valgt som den bedste øl – og dermed blev leveret til Hoffet i forbindelse med brylluppet.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (22/11/2016) - pours hazy orange with a white head. Sweet malty with some caramel and honey sweetness, overripe fruits, yeasty, some spices into the close.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, some honey, bread. Tastes slightly bitter. Well balanced, dry mouth feel.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 12.09.16. Cl,oudy straw colour. White head and lacing. Moderate aroma, with honey, meadows and slightly sour pilsner malt. Similar taste, with meadows and fresh grass. Refreshing.

Fra flaske på DØE Lokomotivhallen mai-16 (dag 2) med Steven: uklar gylden med kort skum. Enda mer aroma og smag af appelsin og honning end Orange Blossom, som vi hadde før denne. En dejlig sommerøl. Og nydeligt sommervejr udenfor!

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Hazy, orange colour with a creamy, lasting off-white head. Nice one. Sweet aroma with honey - herbal and sweet, caramel malts, fruits and light floral hops. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with honey and fruits. Well balanced between hops and honey. Enjoyable.
