Panda thanks to Wingman. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly dark tan head. Light palate, a bit dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied dark malts but, not short on flavour. Dark chocolate and a little coffee, not sweet. Some alcohol nip in the mid. Dark fruits liberally soaked in bourbon. The various chillis start to warm on the back end. A little chocolate cake and then, frankly a bit of a surprise for me, it all comes together on the light and mildly dry finish. Yeah, these chilli bourbon jobs can often be a mess but, this one is well nuanced and balanced and I was sad when my 100ml was done

Black with a tan head that escapes to the edge.
Nose is decadent chocolate, vanilla, light roast, spice, nutty tones, brown sugar melt.
Taste comprises dark malts, light chilli spice, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, molasses.
Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, vanilla, coconut, caramel, spices, taste is similar, fruity, sweet, pleasant warmth from the chilli in the finish.

On tap at Jackie O's, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of bourbon and deep dark chocolate, with the other adjuncts mostly buried. Flavour is rich and complex, with deep bourbon notes, lots of dark cocoa, followed by vanilla and a bit of cinnamon to subtly accentuate. Damn this is fine. Expert blend, with nothing harsh or undesirable. Lovely.
