Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits, hint of liquorice. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a surprisingly potent roasty bitter finish. Nice Bock.

Unlabeled bottle. Dark brown color. Malty caramelly aroma. Medium to full bodied. Malt flavor with roast and caramel. Hints of pear. Not too sweet. Well balanced, just a bit alcoholic bock.

33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow in Borger, Bought @ de Slijterij, Borger Dark borwn with a tan head. Rosted malts, caramel and some yeast in the aroma and also some red fruit. Taste is medium bitter. Tastes more like an abbey dubbel than a dunkler bock to me but at least it’s tasty.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Raisins, malt, marzipan and a hint of leather in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with raisins, sultanas, dates, plums and caramel standing out. Nicely balanced and enjoyable. Some blackcurrant can be detected in the finish.

Bottle from Sterk Avondverkoop. Pours hazy dark amber/copper with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Med body or better. Lots of carbonation. Flavor is sort of nutty chocolate cola. Tastes better than that suggests! It does not finish very near dry.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Nice dark red color, full sized a bit soapy beige head that lasts for a long time. Smell and taste malts, some caramel, moderately sweet, brown sugar. OK body and carbonation, ok beer.

Bottled 330ml (BB 12/2013, alc. 7.5 %)
Thanks bierkoning! My first one from this brewery. Dark nut brown color, big cloudy beige head. Sticky aroma has caramel, vegetables, cellar, berries (strawberry) and alcohol. Medium-bodied, active carbonation. Sweet caramelly flavor, some "Danish-type" berries, perhaps hints of licorice. Also earthy vegetable notes. Homebrewish. Probably not 100% ok. I suppose that this a Dutch "ale bock", not a lager.
