Bottled. Clear, deep reddish brown color, with an enormous tan head that diminished rather quickly. Sweetish aroma with dried apricots and hints of caramel and roasted malt. Sweet flavor as well, with apricot and bitterness like orange-peel. Sweet, medium mouthfeel and a certain fruityness in the finish. Yet another distinguished beer from Refsvindinge. It sort of reminded me of a boosed-up Danish hvidt-øl more than a sweet stout. (070314)
