Can on holiday, camping out in Denmark. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweetish a bit, hay, straw, bitter aftertaste and a bit boozy. Hmm better than some of the other imperial lagers we've had the past couple of days.

2010 bottle from Yespr, thanks! Blonde. Soft peararoma. Grainy, alcoholic, perfumed flavor with pear.

Bottle of 2002-vintage shared with JMD at HNB 25.04.15. Pale orange. Small, white head. Aroma of dry sherry. Similar taste and aftertaste. Dried fruits. Low bitterness. Must have improved with rating. Previous rating of newer beer was 5/2/5/3/11: From can. Very pale and clear golden. Neutral lager aroma. Sweet. Round mouthfeel. Short aftertaste.

Can. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, hops, and, above all, alcohol. Bitter, hoppy flavour with a touch of yeast and an excessive alcohol note that pervades the body and lasts well after the sip has gone past the throat. In no way a Heller Bock, just a yucky Strong Lager / Imperial Piss. An awful, horrible delight for the most detestable wino without any respect for himself. A foreseeable headache sneaks in after two sips. Poor old H.C. Andersen must be turning in his grave every time someone opens a can of this beer.

50 cl can @ RIP camp, BBE 23.03.2014. Thanks a lot TBone!
Aroma is quite strong on honey notes. Also some alcohol and grainy notes. Flavour is sweet and boozy with honey, some grainy malt and glue. Teh horror.
