The color is brown, very dark, almost black; cloudy; with a lot of carbonation and generous head. The aroma is mild, yet the aroma of cassia or cinnamon extract is unmistakable; it’s too artificial to bear! Strong roasted malt and dark chocolate flavor, quite dry, with artificial cinnamon and very strong, salty liquorice; the closest thing I can associate it to is some sort of Fernet digestive liquor, but without the sweetness and alcohol. I know somebody likes this mess...

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A muddy brown beer with a dense, tan head of moderate size. Rather spiced nose with roasted malts. A bit boring. The flavor has Christmas spices, roasted malts and some bitterness. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A quite nice one, blends the spices and roasted malts nicely. 100814
