Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is caramel, roasted tones with some mild toasted elements as well as some mild chocolaty tones. Flavour is toasted, roasted, mildly ashy with some herbal and earthy tones.

500ml can. Quasi black colour with huge, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, minimally grainy and bready, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee, coffee surrogate, a touch of pumpernickel. Taste is roasty, minimally bready and smoky, ashy, dark malty, slightly bitter hoppy, notes of burnt coffee, a touch of pumpernickel, burnt caramel, iron, rust, smoked ham.
Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Balanced, fairly meaty - very nice.

Mein Abschlussbier eines bierigen Nachmittags in Brünn. Leider konnte in der schwülen Umgebung einer kommunistischen Glashalle 🏢 es seine Stärken mit dem feinen Röstmalz 🫖 nicht ganz ausspielen. Der tiefe, schwere Körper ist wirklich schön gelungen und ich kann es mir gut in heimeliger Atmosphäre im Winter ☃️ vorstellen.

Can on the Frontier Brush, picked up from Beer Geek Praha, 08/06/24. Black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is roast malts, charr, dried fruit rinds, cocoa sprinkle. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, chocolate, brown bread, raisins, charr, light ashen bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Tidy stout.

Bottle 0.75l, one year aged. Clear, red to black colored. AROMA- roasted, chocolate and caramel, touch of coffee, a bit burnt, bread crust. FLAVOR- smooth and creamy, just slightly sweet, lightly roasty sour, moderately bitter, roasted and burnt, coffee, dark chocolate, a bit earthy, slight touch of mint. Medium bodied. Tasty.
