Bottle. Clear medium yellow / golden color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (260108)

33 cL can. Pours golden yellow filtered with a huge white head, disappears quite fast. Aroma of bitterhops. Flavour of bitterness from the hops and a faint touch of sweetness from the malts. Finish is well balanced between a good portion of bitterness and a minor sweetness from the malt. Good danish pilsener brew.

Bottle, 4.6%. Clear golden colour, very small white head. Quite clean flavour, but boring.

Bottled. Pale golden, carbonating beer with a white head. Malt, hay and some hops in the aroma. The flavor starts grainy, and is followed by some maltyness and a touch of hops. Thin body and a malty-sweet finish that could use some more hops. Rating: 3-3-3-2-8-1.9. 060520

Can. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick white head. Fruity, grainy-sweet nose with some hoppy notes. Yellow apples and grass. Smooth on the palate, although a bit fizzy and thin. Nice bitterness in the end, with grass, yellow apples and some grain initially. A rather boring one, but sure drinkable. 110612

Bottle. Very deasent pale lager. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Nice light malty aroma, good hoppy notes. Tastes very good. Surprisingly low carbonated, hence nice palate. One of the best "normal" danish pale lagers.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, fully golden beer. Lovely hoppy nose and a decently full body neatly rounded by a pronounced bitter finish. A harmonious and well made pilsener. 080200

Yellow with a good but short lived head. Bland lager taste, with some metallic notes and a flat aftertaste.

A very light yellow beer with an OK but fast disappearing head. It has only a faint aroma of hops. The flavor is dominated of the corn and an OK bitterness. I don’t like beers that taste of any kind of brewing cereal - and therefore I don’t like this beer.

As Hornbæk Havnepilsner: A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, metal, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and brewing cereal, leading to a dry finish.
