This light unfiltered pilsner was brewed with one aim: elegance through simplicty. A simple malt bill, German noble hops and extended lagering make for a crisp, refreshing lager.

Apollo is our golden boy.

New label says 5.0%. Pours a light hazy golden colour and a white head with little retention. Aroma's: mainly fruit (almost sour), with light malt and hops. Retronasal it's fruity, malty, light hoppy. Flavour is fruity, light malty sweet, light bitter. Light bodied. Finishes with decent bitterness. Decent, but I like my pilsners less fruity.

Bottle from Mallorn in the RB 02/2020 Euro Swap - Cheers! 🍻 Tight white ever growing head on a highly carbonated pale straw coloured body. Grain fruity & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with a clean dry back. Grain, grass, light malt & lightly fruited tastes with faint hoppy finish. Nice.

(Bottle, Walhalla Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 31 Aug 2019) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with bread, peaches, grain and herbal hops. Malty taste with notes of bread, grass, hay, peaches and a mild herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
