Onze Calypso Session IPA is een fris bier met een sterke persoonlijkheid en een zachte kant. Weinig alcohol (4%) en toch lekker veel smaak. Die is vooral afkomstig van de hop. Citra en Galaxy zorgen naast een fruitig karakter ook voor een uitstekende doordrinkbaarheid. Lekker lichtalcoholisch maar toch pittig. Om extra vaak van te genieten.

Helder licht geel bier met schuim wat niet lang blijft staan. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van citrus en wat ananas. Matig bier wat betreft body, echter wel een goede doordrinker denk ik.

On tap at IJ Proeflokaal, Amsterdam on 18th November 2022. Clear amber with minimal foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma with leafy hoppiness. A nutty liquid pass and a finish not dissimilar to a pilsner. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

7-4-6-3-13 Bottle, #003198, five months before bbd. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is citrusy hops with lemon, lime and grassy notes, as well as some malts with cereals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is citrusy hops with lemon, lime and stone fruit minerals, as well malts with hay and cereals.

33cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, some lemon, jam, pale malt. Taste of lemon, citrusy hops, pale malt, grainy malt in the background. Moderate bitterness.

(Draught at Brouwerij 't Ij, Amsterdam, 5 May 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, tropical fruit and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, pineapple, grainy malt and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop profile. Nice one.
