Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours clear deep amber with a decent white head. The nose is sweet fruits, raisin, sultana, fruit cake, estery, water and honeycomb. The taste is bitter, toasty, grainy, paper, boosty alcohol, sugary, bread, caramel and fruit cake with pretty much no finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Weird warming booze vibes persists. Very thin indeed. Meh.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Daniel. Pours clear orange-gold with a foamy white head. Bready malts in the nose, toasted sugars, vague ripe fruits. Medium sweet flavor with doughy, creamy malts, light caramel, berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary and bready on the finish more caramel, ripe berries. Meh, sweet and bready, and little else.

Bottle from Rasputin Food and Wine, Ipswich, UK (described to me when purchasing as ’Ukrainian live beer’). Historic rating. Poured a deep copper colour with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, raisin and prune. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slightly oily texture. Enjoyable.

1 litre bottle, thx RexTalionis! Dark brown, lacing white head. Lacto aroma, bread, rye, medicinal. Flavor is sweet, bready, sweet fruity/herbal thingy. Very strange. Low bitterness.

Brown colour, hazy, thick but diminishing head. Aroma: first impression is some sour aroma and hay, then comes caramel, roasted malt and rye bread (somewhat similar to kvass). Lightly sour taste. Light body, soft carbonation, pleasant oily texture. Strange beer, not for everyone, but good to drink from time to time. 50 cl bottle.
