Can from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Coffee with bourbon, mocha, roasted malt, some vanilla and caramel. Medium sweet flavour, bourbon in the finish. Medium to full body. Good stuff, nice barrel aging.

Can picked up from Drankgigant.nl webshop and consumed sat in Frank at Edeka car park after a fabulous night at Grafenau Volksfest Friday 5th July 2024. Pours shark eye black beer with an off white/cream head. Malty with some coffee elements on the nose and in the, however it's a little sweet. The bourbon lest I forget is also noted, but overall I'm a little bit disappointed.

Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet en warm krachtig met iets van chocolade, koffie en wat vanille, alles met en lichte bourbon smaak. Jammer dat dit een klein blikje was.

0,33 l blikje. Listed with 9.6% abv on the label. Pitch black in the glass, one finger foamy beige head. A lot of Bourbon, vanilla, malt berry fruits and some choco on the nose. Taste starts with creamy choco, fruity, smooth toasted malt and yes, boozy, sweet elements. Dangerous easy to drink. Slick at the palate. Great stuff.

Pours a dark colours and a small beige head that doesn't last long. Aroma's are sweet, caramel, with griesmeelpudding (grits pudding?), almond, and fruit retronasal. Flavour is above moderate sweet, fruity, almond. Warming alcohol. Medium bodied. Original review text: Pours a black body and a small beige head with a thin layer retention. Aroma's from the glass: big coffee grind, hard roast, with only faint hints of booze coming through. Retronasal there's big coffee, light booziness, light sweetness. Flavour is above moderate sweet balanced nicely with the cooffee/roast, giving it some bitterness as well. Warming alcohol. Above medium bodied. Fairly low carbonation. Long finish with mocha, coffee, bitter chocolate. Ends better than it starts.
