CBH WS 2025. Deep brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is smoked wood with some toffee, mild sweet grainy tones with some nutty and mild herbal tones. Flavuor is smoekd wet wooden tones, mild toffee, grains, mild nutty tones with some slight a nice barrel aged kick to it when you let it warm up.

Süß rauchiger Beginn. Alkoholisch, zuckrig malzig, erstaunlich wenig drückend. Geringe Karbonisierung, würzig, süffig. Kakao, viel Vanille, weicher malziger Abgang mit würzigem Honig. Lecker. 6/12/11/11/7/11

Tap. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, lots of smoke and peat, pleasant whisky barrel wooden notes, plums, medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Full body, malty smoky peaty bitter sweet finish. Good.

Tap at BGB. Hazy ruby body, off-white head. Huge smoke aroma, strong peat, sweetish. Sweet, hugely peaty sweetish taste, some beet juice, earthy, fruity touches, warming, rough. Not my type but respectable.

375ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brown colour with late awakening, small, bubbly, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Peaty, smoky aroma, notes of leather, brittle leather, a touch of TCP, sweet-ish, caramel malty background. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, somehow fruity alcoholic and mildly peaty, smoky, hints of mirabelle liqueur, a touch of leather, milk chocolate, caramel, nougat; well hidden alcohol. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, very fine, soft to flat carbonation. Harmonious, homogeneous, mild - very nice sipper.

Last beer of the month.. had bit more this month than expected, need to chill with money... Smell- gasoline, burned plastic, malt, bit unpleasant. Foam- medium strong, weak sourness, weak berry notes, some wine notes. Head is tiny, white-brown-ish color. Appearance- very cool brewer bottle cap and cool bottle label with drow on a skull, nice. Dark brown color, no carbonation, maybe bew bubbles. From - pint Price- 7,99 for 0.33.. crazy! Taste- malty, berry notes, weak acidic, tones, sweet sourness, gasoline, caramel, alcohol. Bit weird and unbalanced, haveing similar notes as from Teika brewery at the beginning... gasoline, burned plastic, but still some good in the mix. I am torn apart of how to rate this :D All things considered ok, but boozy.

Bottle. Color: Murky reddish brown, very thin off-white head. Aroma: Smoke, peat. Taste: Quite a lot of peat with a sweetish malty background, grain and some hop. Bit sugary. Low carbonation. Boozy notes. Over moderate to medium sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Quite heavy on the malt side and not that hoppy, like a Märzen should be. In one way a quite dense mouthfeel from the malt, in another way feeling a bit thin compared to most other BA beers. I think it's at least daring to use a Märzen as base beer, the Peat is a bit overwhelming but the base beer is still recognizable. It works out well for me. Compliments to the brewers. Sweetish peaty sipper...

Tap at mini-CBH, Oljenkorsi, Helsinki. Colour is clear brown with very small white head. Aromas and flavours: Tar, peat whiskey, grain and malts. Very heavy.
