Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel with notes of fruit and chocolate. Bitter taste of hops and dark chocolate combined with malty and caramellish sweetness. Dry, coffeelike finish. Not bad as such. I thought it would be much worse, actually. Still, nothing really impressive.

Bottle, 5.6%. The aroma is metallic. Clear dark red brown colour. Very big and stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and sweet with a bit of sourness to it. Hint of metal in the finish, too.

Small yellowish brown head. Deep reddish brown body. Earthy chocolate and licorice aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweetish papery licorice taste with peppery herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry-sweetish licorice and earth aftertaste with papery herbal cinnamon and chocolate notes. It’s OK, but too musty and stale. (0.5l bottle, Føtex, Copenhagen.)

500 ml bottle, from SuperBest Skødstrup. ABV is 5.6%. Very dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of chocolate malts and cocoa, an acidic hint of vomit brings the aroma rating down. The flavour is not as sweet as expected, the chocolate / cocoa is fairly moderate, and the malt-accented beer is quite drinkable. Light bodied, with very moderate hops.
