500ml bottle after dinner at Southsea Village. Shared with Finn. Rustic-black body, covering fawn coloured head, upper part lacing. Inviting roasted malty smell, chocolate scent. Caramel and chocolate flavours followed by a mid-dry, roasted malty end. Medium bodied. Pretty good. (Southsea 18.10.2022).

Tap at Ammutsøn, Vienna, Austria. Pours dark brown, almost black, with super stable and very fine light cream foam. Aroma is coffee and dark chocolate. Body is kind of thin, with no carbonation. Taste is medium roasty bitter. Final is average.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 9 May 2022) Dark brown colour, almost black, with creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice and black bread. Roasted, malty taste with coffee, chocolate, black bread, some liquorice and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, mainly dry, but with a light sweetness. No major surprises here, but a tasty and well made Irish stout. Nice one.
