My second is the highlight of the show, a taste of smoked in the mouth whose balance is worthy of an Acrobate… My whole is a round and warm beer that offers a nice length in the mouth that our master brewer carries you high and strong! ”

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweet malt with sugary fruits, yeast. Did not pick up a lot of the smoke unfortunately. On the sweet side, but not bad for a Goudale beer.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Honeyish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is Belgoyeast, some sweet malts, alcohol and mild toasted tones. Flavour is smoked wet wood, some sweet malts, belgoyeast and mild toffee to it. Smooth, could do with a wee bit more smoked malts.

Bottle from Carrefour and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Some ester yeast aroma. A sweet triple in the mouth. Some toffee some caramel some tangerine fruit in the mouth. Odd I d9nt get much smoke. It's a sweet triple. Not much bitterness on the finish. Mostly toffee finish. Fine. OK

Bottled 250ml. -from Casino Albertville as Goudale Project Circus Triple 9. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, caramel and yeast in the nose with whiff of smoke. Sweet malty, caramel, yeasty and fruity with odd smoked cheese presence. Some alcohol as well.

Bottle, 9%. Caramelly and peppery aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Unstable white head. The flavour is very malty and a little sugary. Faint smokiness and a bubble gum Belgian yeast note. Good, but a bit too sweet for my liking.

75 bottle from Netto. Did not expect them to have Goudale, but pretty welcoming due to the very low pricing. clear orange, smooth beige head. aroma of yeast, flowers, herbs, some herbal hoppy bitterness. flavor is bitter from alc. malts, watery feeling, overripe citrus fruits. too bittersweet and overripe citrus fruity, also the watery / weak flavor profile is not able to hide the alc. so on top of bittersweet notes, you get the alc. flavor which i prefer to be hidden. Most belgian tripel beers are better than this, even cheap supermarket ones. The smoked malts just makes it worse, and I even like smoked malts quite a bit. This is not one for me..

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of smoke, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry finish.
