That light at the end of the tunnel illuminates your journey. Ours started with the rawest form of an untraditional Best Bitter. Today we find ourselves setting off in a new direction that is even more welcoming, like a pub fire after a long walk.

Can bought at the brewery Bristol and drunk at home. Clear deep amber colour lasting beige head. Its a malty bitter. Good biscuit bread flavour. some English hops on finish . light pepper finish. yep simple but decent enough. you wouldn't complain if this was on cask at a pub you walked into.

Can 440ml (KSM Kampus, BB 08/10/22)
Hazy dark orange colour, medium-sized white head. Aroma is quite faint, just some fruityness and malts. Light-bodied, even watery. Citrus, mandarin, piney hops in the flavour, even a bit metallic clang. Quite modern take on Bitter.

44 cl can @ Nurmo, BBE 08.10.2022. Rated on 1.3.2022 Aroma has resin and fruity hops. Flavour has fruity hops, minerals, grapefruit and some bush leaves. Not the most typical bitter and a bit dry for my taste. Decent anyway.

An orange and quite murky beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has biscuit and grain, light aromatic notes and flowers, also citrus. Taste has grain, some aromatic notes and light hoppyness, nicely fresh. Medium bodied. Good and fresh. I like this.

Cask at Moor Vaults. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is light grains, little wishy washy, herbal hop, hay. Palate is semi sweet, light grainy, decent cask condition. Flavour is composed of earthy grains, herbal, waxy citrus, unique hop, talus maybe, vanilla, light grassy finish. Ok.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Bermondsey Vault. Pours lightly hazed burnished gold with a creamy, white head. British yeast in the about. Lightly sweet, some white bread, simple malts, nips of leaves, yeast, dough, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation, balanced finish, more bready pale malts, English yeast, subtle bitter straw. Drinks good.
