Hailuotolainen Portteri on tumma, pintahiivalla käytetty olut, jossa paahteiset, kahviset, suklaiset ja karamelliset maltaan maut yhdistyvät saksalaisen Smaragd-humalan aromeihin. Verrattuna brittiläiseen portteriin mannereurooppalainen oluenpanotyyli luo maltaisemman rungon. Herkullinen olut täynnä luonnetta.

On tap at Mallassauna. Dark amber with a medium tan head. Dark bread, chocolate and butterscotch.

Bottled (from KCM Kivihaka, Vaasa). Deep brown colour with a brown small head. Aroma is toffee, toasted malts, some mild roasted and nutty tones. Flavour is pretty much following the same pattern as the aroma, but also has some wooden and mild floral tones to it.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of butterscotch and dark bread. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some floral hay, but the butterscotch is getting the better of it. Low bitterness.

Semll of roasted malt, some tar. Dark brown colour, high beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, some red berries, finishes with chocolate. Also earth, peat, coffee. Lively carbon. Rich body, nice for this ABV.
