500ml bottle. Slightly hazy, orange amber colour, white foam head and floral aroma with tropical fruit mango & orange hop. Taste is malt caramel balanced with zesty citrus, orange, hoppy and lingering earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable IPA.

Cask at The Fountain. Pours a darker shade than expected, with a firm white head and good lacing. Aromas of... well... not a great deal. Some light bready sweet malt, flowery hops. Medium to light bodied, slightly thin. Tastes more like a 4% session beer. Expected more hop bitterness. Flat carbonation.

50cl bottle from Ryans Bar. Pours light amber with a decent head. The nose has lemon and just a hint of biscuity malt. The taste has lemon going into grapefruit. The palate is light to medium bodied with a similar texture and a clean refreshing finish. Overall, a good IPA/Bitter.

Golden beer with a frothy head. Citrus-sweet hop aroma, the hop comes through stronger in the taste with the fruit more of an undertone. Very drinkable but unremarkable.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Hazy amber/gold body with a thin, loose white head. No lacing. Aroma of caramel and soft tropical fruit notes. Flavour of pear, orange, toffee, earth and slightly unpleasant tang on the finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. I remember this tasting better a few years ago.

(Cask at Gallows Bird, 20120908) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had toffee, caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, toffee, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. Not so impressive bitter.

Cask @ The Caley, Edinburgh 260612
Amber, clear, bubbly head, bit of lacing
Aroma of zest hops, piney. Taste of bitter zesty hops, caramel, bit syrupy malts, citrus zest hops, bit of soft grapefruit, barley sugar.
Palate - soft carb. medium body, bit sticky. Finish - very lingering bitter hoppy finish.
Overall - Generally it’s a good beer but the finish was over bitter and lingers too much

Bottle courtesy of and shared with my dad at home, cheers dad consumed 08.12.11 Pours a slightly hazy rusty gold colour but actually the clarity is better than I am suggesting. Some sweetened and preserved lemons, in fact it is a touch sweet but this isn’t anyway negative, some marmalade flavours. Nicely bitter in the mouth, its is a lovely beer. A6 A4 A8 P3 Ov15 3.6

Bottle from Deeside Drink Emporium, Banchory. It pours cloudy orange, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is tangerine, orange, fresh pine and orange squash. The taste is sweet orange, tangerine, pine, resin, orange squash, leather and dryness, with a big bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good stuff!
