Cask@GBBF2009. Goldeny amber colour not much head. Aroma is fruit, nectary, mild stomach acids as well as some grass. Flavour is wood, sweet nectar and some slightly sourish berries. Quite dry palate.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Judges, Glasgow 29/06/09. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Orange aroma with some caramel and pine hops. Flavours of marmalade, citrus hops and a slightly resinous, dry finish. Good stuff.

Cask (handpump) @ Blackfriars, 36 Bell St, Merchant City, Glasgow G1 1LG, Scotland.Clear medium to light dark amber orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090410]

Cask @ 3 Judges. Clear golden colour, off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, hops and paper. Flavour of caramel malts and fruity hops. Sweet finish. Bottle from The Cave. Nice hoppy and well balanced. No nose of paper here. +0.3
