Virtually black with a creamy, beige head. Malty, toffee-like aroma with a touch of fudge. Vinous too though. Taste is bitter, tart, with a mild, dry tartness taking over the finish, sitting atop a sweet, caramel body. Full-bodied, moderate carbonation. Taste going in all directions. A nice variation of the style!

Sensory Session #82: brown color and a small tan head. Roasted malts and toffee sweeetness. Spicy and dry dark fruits and very dry.

Smell of sweet malt, dried fruit. Cola colour, light brown head. Aroma of sweet malt, plums, dried fruit. Fizzy foamy carbon. Syrupy sweet.

0,33 l bottle. A darkest cloudy brown with reddish edges in the glass. One finger pale beige head. Dry malt on the nose. Taste starts malty, som resin, increasing dry malt, roasty, caramel, fruity background. Mid bitterness. Not as alcoholic as expected, but also scratchy at the end.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 31.12.2027) im 2023-03 getrunken. Diese sehr feinperlige Bock hat eine kurzweilgie Schaumkrone. Die Aromen sind aber sehr verschlossenen und es ist eher eine Karamellnote mit einer bananenartige Süße wie bei einem Hefeweizen zu entdecken. Nicht schlecht!
