500 ml bottle. Cloudy chestnut brown with a creamy foamy head. Earthy, malty, roasty, zesty, roasted nuts, dark whole grain bread, some banana. Dry bitterness, light malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry roasty malty bittersweet finish. A good Dunkle Weiße, very full-bodied, flavorfull, rural, zünftig!

Bottle picked up locally and consumed sat outside Frank at Campingplatz Tröpplkeller, Zwiesel Friday 14th October 2022. Pours murky brown with a large off white head. This is leaning towards the thin and watery side, ok there is a little wheatiness on the nose but otherwise it's not doing an awful lot for me, tangy and just ok.

Bottle. Cloudy brown with a huge off white head. Aroma of dark bread, spices. Bready texture. Dark bread with building spices, wheaty tanginess and a little bitterness. Lots of coriander and clove at then end. Ends up with a bit more grunt than expected but a concomitant lesser refreshment. Still, not bad at all.

Bottle. Amber color, hazy. Soft caramel and cappuccino aroma. Thinnish, caramelly, slightly yeasty flavor. Hint of licorice in the aftertaste.

Clear dark amber colour, tall creamy beige head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, toasted, light caramel, yeast, cloves, hint of citrus. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, wheaty, light toffee, touch of citrus. Kinda thin and mild sweetbitter finish, spicy notes, medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Starts good but gets weaker towards the end and that is a pity.
