A pretty decent golden ale. A nice hoppiness to it, some sharp grapefruit and citrus and nothing sickly or sweet that you sometimes get with goldens of this strength.

Gravicask at 23rd St Albans Beer & Cider Festival. Crocheted lacing from a filmy layer. Clear late straw coloured body. Moderate floral hops on the nose. Mid-dry citrus flavours with a lemony touch. Drying ending with a backdrop of bitterness. Fair enough. (Shared with Finn, 27.09.2018).

Poured a clear light golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, grassy lemon lime citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a light, crisp, fresh, malt, grassy citrus fruit, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Classic Oakham.

Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Golden with a small head. Hoppy with a mild pale ale texture, with a very easy enough drinking texture. A few malts are evident, these perhaps most stated in its nose.

From cask at Brewery Tap, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, with OGJ 04.01.18. Clear golden. Persistent bright white head and lacing. Aroma of marmalade, citrus and pale malt. Similar taste, with medium bitterness. Smooth and full mouthfeel for only 4 % ABV.

Pours a light golden colour with a smooth foamy white head. Aroma is predominantly light malt, some grass and citrus hops. Robust grassy, astringent bitterness with some light malty sweetness and lingering bitter finish.
