Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a aplse straw with a minimal white head and good lacing. Some floral hops in the aroma, but not overdone. Starts off sweet in the mouth, but then becomes hoppy with lemon and citrus showing through. Dry and bitter in the finish. Better than I was expecting – thankfully the citra was restrained. More of a damp squib than an inferno though !

Clear pale gold with a frothy white head and a soft light biscuit malt aroma with hints of mellow citrus fruit. Light bodied and smooth, with and underlying light malt flavour and mellow bitterness, after a sharp citrusy kick, and a dry finish

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of citrus fruits, hints of tropical and some floral. Taste has more citrus, floral and peppery spice with some pithy bitterness on the finish. Medium to full body, average carbonation and very smooth oily mouthfeel. Nice fresh summery beer.

4/4/2021. Bottle shared at the first post-lockdown Ipswich beer share. From Morrisons, Ipswich. Poured clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malts, stone fruit, lemon, grass. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Decent.

500ml bottle. Light gold, very small head with some retention. Hoppy aroma with some malts. Taste has an initial hoppy, citrus, light malts and then there is almost a void before there is a building bitterness in the finish which is interesting for a blonde ale and must be where the 'inferno' come from. Body is light and there is a moderate carbonation. I guess before the latest craft beer explosion this was seen as very hoppy and modern. Now its almost traditional and its probably not that old a beer! Its a decent beer overall.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden yellow, decent head. Nose - floral and custardy. Lemon and malt. Taste - more lemon barley water. Palate - creamy and light bodied. Balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - quite good.

Bottle from a colleague and drunk at home. Slight haze pale gold colour lasting white head. Good citrus hoppy aroma. Full in the mouth. Good bitterness. Sherbet hop character like a lemon and lime sherbet fountain. Pretty good.
