The Buronator is a strong beer with an intense, dark, malty aromatic body and a distinctive caramel and chocolate note. It surprises with winey and aromatic alcoholic impressions.

Bottle: Deep ruby amber coloured, medium-sized - loose but persistent - beige head; moderate roasty nose with a solid background of sweet dried fruits and a tinge of molasses; medium to full bodied, a bit fizzy, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; traces of salt in the moderate chocolatey, fruity and toasty finish, followed by an light alcoholic afterburn. Well drinkable, quite simple Doppelbock...........

.5L bottle from Hollingshead Deli; Nose of caramel, brown sugar, grain, and figs; clear copper-brown with a medium, big bubbled beige head; flavor of fig newtons, brown sugar, and a molasses note; finish slightly sweet with a very minor alcohol warmth.

Bottle. Rich dark malt aroma. Dark brown color with a decent beige/tan head. Medium body with very smooth carbonation. Flavor is dark malt with some balancing hop. Like maybe grassy hop. It has some spice aspects in a light way. Perhaps a bit woody. The finish is smooth, and lightly sweet. Pretty heavy, but tasty.

Kind of a dull chestnut brown colour. Brown sugar, malt and molasses aroma. Sweet, earthy, molasses malt character. The body is fairly light for the style. There is a bit of late alcohol showing. A fairly simple example.

Very dark color, short lasting head. Aroma of rye and roasted malts, bitter coffee. Bit strong aroma. Way too much rye for me, but very strong taste. I was like chewing on the breadcrumbs.
