Taster during MBCC 2023 Friday morning session shared with Ryan, Matt, Phill, Brian, and Erik. Barrel, dark fruits in aroma. Not that impressive in taste. Ok.

On tap at MBCC 2023, pours a clear dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart red berries, leather and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is leathery, with wild yeast, leather and tart red berries. Leathery, wild finish. Decent. Is this not an infected recovery?

MBCC. Light hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and tart. Flavor is quite sweet and rather acidic. Dry and rather acidic finish. 050523

Tap. Brown color with amber highlight and a beige. Aroma is chocolate, hoppy, good funk too. Taste is caramel, berries, grassy, good jamminess, dryish finish, but not too dry, it has some body. Oily mouthfeel, sparkly carbonation. Tasty, and well-hidden ABV.

Not your typical BA stout, as she doesn't work that way. Sour, funky, not much roast flavor but it has loads of delicious wood and dark notes, a bit of dark cherry. The second of their new release. And Ulrike's birthday party!
