Pours a clear, golden color, topped with an average white foamy head. Malty aroma with grassy notes. Taste starts sweet, followed by a mild bitterness, a bit grassy.

50cl Bottle, thanks Bart! Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of metal, light grain, skunk. Flavour is skunky, metallic, sour mash, bad stuff. Light-bodied.

Draught at BBF12. Good hoppy aroma. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty, slightly chalky. Very clean with a good mild hoppiness.

08/04 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured deeper golden body with small head that lived just a few seconds. Grass and lemon hops dominate its aroma, but for sure it had that eggy/honeyish marzen malt. Bittersweet flavor, more malty than hoppy, with hops being pronounced in the finish. Body was quite thin, which leaves a watery impression. OK one, nothing special, but it’s good for marzens which are almost always crappy.

0.5l bottle found in Graz, shared with heavy. Tiny white head that vanished immediately. Full yellow colour. Light malty nose, fresh but eggy, herbal hopiness. Taste, fine soapy herbal hoppiness? dominates the taste, without being all that bitter (the bitterness being an afterthought), some sweet slightly eggy maltiness. Ok but doesn’t impress me all that much.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Starts very dry and moldy, the finish is a little bit more spicy. Not a good beer!

A light yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty - and so is the flavor, with a dry end and a thin body.
