Swing top bottle from Cuso, thanks! Opens with a loud bang. Pours a huge head. Almost black. Roast, ash, salt and licorice in the flavor. Plums, malt and salt in the aroma. Full bodied, slightly alcoholic. The sweetness is well matched by the typical stout flavors. Good!

33cl swing top pours a viscous black with some creamy, brown head. Nose is a little bit rubbery, smoke, molasses, toasted bread, some lemon, some pine. Quite a bit happening. Flavor is dry roasted coffee, raisins, prunes, burnt toast with jam, molasses, crackers, wheat chaff, light fruit. Full, dry finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20130713) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had sourness, saltiness, liquorice and hoppiness. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, sweetness, sourness and bitterness. Aftertaste was souur and bitter. Not so tasty stout.
