Clear dark golden with a foamy fluffy head. Metal, roasted malt, citrus, marzipan, some caramel. Metallic bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, metallic bittersweet finish. Not the best Festbier, quite metallic and not balanced, but gets better as it settles.

Bottle. Clear amber/dark orange sporting a respectable white head. Aroma of grains, malts and herbal and floral hops. Taste of bread, grains, caramel, herbs and red fruits. Slightly sweet, vaguely fruity and mildly spicy. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Süffig and all-around decent.

Bottle, I believe from a Getränkemarkt in Leipzig, drunk watching the first ep of Foundation. Clear red amber with a tall head of beauty. Nose is malty, spicy dried hay. The flavor is a bit astringent, cara-red type of flavor I don't prefer, hay and earthy herbal bitterness. Dry; just alright.
