50 cL can, comes as Marsalkka Vaalea Täysmallaslager. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and slight metallic. Toasted malty, vague smoked and quite metallic. Bitter and slight herbal into a dry finish.

As Marsalkka Vaalea Täysmallaslager. Thanks to Finn for sharing a 500ml can. One-finger white head, clear golden body. Smell of grainy malts. Grainy malts and some noble hops to the taste buds. Brief notes of bitterness on the swallow. Soft and a bit oily. Decent lager (at Finns in Tromsø, 16.06.2011).

Guess this is the one my friend Ossi had at Bruuveri (and a thanks to him!). Thick white head, golden body. Honey in the nose, honeyish maltiness in the taste, surrounded by a prickly, slightly acidic hopiness. Ok.

Draught @ Bruuveri 30.11.09. Pours golden color, weak grass aroma. Thin white head. Flavor is quite malty with hints of citrus. Overall a good pale lager, very refreshing, easy to drink.

Bottle 33cl. @ [ Ulfborg Tasting ].[ Courtesy of Maria ]. Clear medium amber yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, vegetable - cabbage water, toffee, butterscotch. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081218]

Draught, 4.6% at Bruuveri. Weak bready aroma. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite citric. Dusty notes, quite malty, but the acidity puts me off a bit, like most other Finnish lagers. Fruity finish.

Medium white head. Copper body. Light perfumy malty aroma, quite neutral. Dry apple and straw taste with hoppy notes. A bit watery. Dry papery, rubbery aftertaste with chalky grainy notes. Not bad, but didn’t enjoy it that much. (0.33l bottle, Vantaa airport.)

Draught at Panimoravintola Bruuveri, Helsinki- Golden in colour with not much of a discernible aroma at first but this could be down to the serving temperature. Grainy and malty aroma with a grassy, malty taste. It is quite refreshing but nothing special. Tastes very fresh though.

Blond color. For being the Lager for the masses, this one is brewed quite well; the malt shows a bit in the end and the bitterness is strong.
