Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma has whiffs of butter, yeasty white bread, cereals. Bottle about a month away from expiration so perhaps the hoppy freshness has lost its edge. Taste is mildly grainy bitter on a fairly light body. Has an understated delicate feel that I like—avoids the harsh metallic notes of many beers of the style, but then fails to deliver much in alternative at the finish, which drifts off into a watery, surprisingly empty ending. Drinkable, but not one of the better beers from this brewery.

Fresh bottle from the brewery. At the brewery I had this from tap and it was full of butter. Thankfully this bottle is clean. Lovely clear golden with a white head. Freshly baked bread, citrus and a hint of lemon. Super crisp and dry. Excellent!

Ausgezeichnet! (14.9.2021.)

Swing top bottle. Blonde. Grassy aroma. Grassy hopbitter flavor. Dry. Only a hint of apple. Chloride in the aftertaste. OK pilsener.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, thanks VastActiv/TimoA, 20170707) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. A tasty grainy pils.

On tap at the brewery in Grafenberg. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. Quite a malty cereally aroma. Cereal in mouth then the hops kick in. Some bitterness on the finish. not keen on aroma or flavour too much. Finish is ok. 2.9 completely different this time round reminded me of St Georgen Brau pils. Floral tasty full I mouth love the finish. Creamy. And it looks fabulous as well.

Bottle at Nuremberger Alm. Bright, clear, golden color with a medium-low, fine head and plenty of carbonation. Crisp, herbal nose, lemony, a bit too much sulfur. Very lemony flavor, minerals, dry malts, wild. Pretty great and original hops. Malts are dry and crisp. Apricot, interesting fruits, and great bitteress too. Good but would be amazing without so much sulphur.
