Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is lightly malty, with some fruity sourness and generic fruityness. Orange notes. The flavor is pretty much the same, malty, fruity and with some hoppy bitterness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Mostly bitter in the end. Well, didn’t impress me, but I could certainly have downed a few in the heat. 120817

Bottled, from Eat & Joy Maatilatori, Helsinki. Cloudy golden, creamy head. Salty and fruity with mild grassy hops. Light-medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Relaxed and nicely drinkable withbalanced hop rate and mild bitterness. One of the better bottled examples of a style (that don’t really fare well in bottles) I’ve come across.

Bottled@SOPP Turku 2012. Hazy deep golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, earth, herbs and some slight earthcellary notes. Flavour is Kölsch. Earth, malts, some mild wood, yeast and mild herbs. Very nice, and probably the best Kölsch I have had from outside Germany.

A slightly cloudy, golden beer with medium and white head. Aroma is fresh, malts, aromatic fruitness, that is overally fructose sweet, perries. Taste is smooth and malty, aromatic, fruits, mild bitterness that is grassy and slightly lemony, aftertaste is slightly musty. Light+, slightly too light, but actually, it’s not bothering, smooth to drink. Very aromatic, quite refreshning and smooth beer, very tastefull.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #429, BBE 1.11.2012
Aroma is rather fruity with some yeast, grainy malt and vegetables. Flavour is moderately hopped with fruits, some grainy malt, hints of vegetables, glue and yeast. This one tasted good with mustamakkara, but after I ate it some vegetable‐ and glue‐like savors occurred. Something between ale and lager.
