Glissade is a remarkably mellow take on the traditional spring bock. With restrained sweetness, we emphasize subtle malt flavor balanced against delicate aromas of spicy and floral European hops. This complex balance helps Glissade slide across the palate, bracing us against the last cold nights of winter, while its bright golden color turns our thoughts toward spring.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, over ripe fruits, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, yeast, malt, over ripe fruits, and metal, leading to a dry finish. Not impressed.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden with a slight haze and a smallish off-white head. Clean malty nose. Solid malt base, clean sweet malts and perhaps a little sulphur. Dry and bitter finish. Appears fairly classic German. Solid and well made. 140212

Enjoyed from bottle at Blind Robin in Chicago, IL. Appearance is a cloudy gold with not much head. Aroma mostly malty with a light citrus hop presence. Taste is a brisk malt, bitter from hops, not bad, for Sierra Nevada and the style its good.

A hazed orange amber bock with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with grassy hops, lightly piney, not bad. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with nice grassy German hops, lingering bitterness, a bit thin, but overall, quite decent.

35,5 cl bottle @ Mallaskukko. Rated on 13.05.2011.
Aroma is sweet with some ripe fruits, honey, hops and hints of alcohol. Flavour is stale and sweet with honey, fruits, hay and grainy malt. Some alcohol in the finish. Decent.

35cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a good formation of white head but quickly diminishes. Aroma is malty, hoppy and buttery. The flavour is malty, with a moderate bitterness and bready. The final is slightly bittery and with a medium duration. Carbonation is soft to medium. Body is medium. Texture is oily.

8/11/11/9/12/11

Bottle. Dark golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is mildly malty, and the flavour is malty and well hopped with a dry and rich finish. Overall a nice well hopped and malty golden beer.

Bottled 350ml. -from Ambrosetti, Berlin. Dark golden coloured, small white head, odd dry grassy nose with notes of chamomile. Sweet malty, grassy and mild alcoholic with sweetish dry finish. Again that hint of chamomile. Pleasant bock but expected more.
