.5 L. Draft, Berchtesgaden. Aroma is toffee and mild smashed nuts. Earthy. The flavor follows. Heaty malt backbone, showing nuts, mild chocolate, earthy grain. Good body without being too heavy. Slightly sweet still shows bitterness.

Bottle from Great Grog. Clear amber body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, gingerbread and caramel. Flavour of brown bread, toffee, yeast and grassy bitterness. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Rich and well balanced.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Clear chestnut brown. Slim dense off white foam. Nose has sweet bready lightly toasted malt. Bit of toffee apple. Taste is fairly sweet with moderate leafy bitterness. Drinks well overall with a foamy consistency. Light bitter light sweet finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a creamy, velvety, beige head. Nose is dry, very subtle toastiness. Medium body, slightly sweet toffee paired with discreet roast and even discreeter bitterness. Very smooth and harmonious. 160825

Bottle, enjoyed @ Brotzeitstüberl Sonnenschein Ramsau. Announced as a brand new beer from this brewery. Not a bad choice. Dark brown color. Caramel in the aroma. Malt flavor, with caramel and a hint of roast. Almost fluid bread. Roasty finish.
