Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Clear chestnut brown. Slim dense off white foam. Nose has sweet bready lightly toasted malt. Bit of toffee apple. Taste is fairly sweet with moderate leafy bitterness. Drinks well overall with a foamy consistency. Light bitter light sweet finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a creamy, velvety, beige head. Nose is dry, very subtle toastiness. Medium body, slightly sweet toffee paired with discreet roast and even discreeter bitterness. Very smooth and harmonious. 160825

Clear brown colour with thin head. Quite bitter but there is a nice caramel note in the finish too.

A: clear brown, small, off-white head.
A: raisin, red apple, banana, biscuit, yeast.
T: sweetish red apple, banana, dry yeast, bread.
F: herbal hops, dried fruit, dry yeast & biscuit.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Pretty good!

Bottle. Chestnut beer with a tan head. Light caramel aroma. Light caramel and light nutty flavor. Medium bodied. Nuttiness and caramel linger.

Bottle, enjoyed @ Brotzeitstüberl Sonnenschein Ramsau. Announced as a brand new beer from this brewery. Not a bad choice. Dark brown color. Caramel in the aroma. Malt flavor, with caramel and a hint of roast. Almost fluid bread. Roasty finish.

Schönes Kupfer im Glas, keine Perlung. In Nase und Trunk Karamell, mittig deutlich malzig, dann bitter in den Abgang. Süffig, kernig, passt schon.

500 ml bottle at Drunkenmonkey, Augsburg. Clear dark brown, medium head. A lot of malts and roasted malts, caramel, chestnut, walnut, cocoa, herbal hops. Slightly sweet with a dry hoppy bitterness. Oily to watery texture, dry hoppy finish, medium bodied, soft carbonated. Straight forward Dunkel with a distinct hoppy character.

Aroma: Sweet, caramel, very light bready/spicy.
Appearance: Clear dark brown. Minimal off-white head.
Taste: Medium sweet, mlaty, light chocolate, light caramel.
Palate: Medium body. Light creamy. Light astringent finish.
Overall: Good, caramely.
