Dead Guy IPA builds on the 30-year legacy of Dead Guy Ale by adding a whole new dimension to the Dead. Tropical and citrus hop aromas synchronize flawlessly with a piney and enjoyable bitter bite. This West-Coast IPA has a crisp finish thanks to our proprietary Pacman yeast also used in Dead Guy Ale. Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear deep golden, small head. Piney grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with above medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Piney bitter finish.

355ml can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours amber, medium transparent, with Aroma is hoppy, resinous. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium-high bitter. Final is still bitter, earthy.

Clear golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma has toasted malt and a faint note of liquorice. Classic IPA with malt body and a rounded resinous and slightly piney hop profile.

12 ounce can from Ridgeview Liquor, 10/28/23. Been for ever since I had any Rogue beer much less a Dead Guy. Hazy copper, medium beige head, average retention. Aroma of grapefruit, pale malt. Taste is green, dank, resin, grapefruit, pale malt. Moderate bitterness. Okay.

Can (from Beer Republic). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, grassy and some mild sweet malts to it. Flavour is floral, fruity, some nectary and mild toffeeish tones with some mild bitterness too. Smooth and pleasant.

Tall can. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of pine resin, candied fruit, caramel, orange zest and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with candied orange and caramel like malts up front, then some bitter pine. A very good West Coast IPA.
