Dead Guy IPA builds on the 30-year legacy of Dead Guy Ale by adding a whole new dimension to the Dead. Tropical and citrus hop aromas synchronize flawlessly with a piney and enjoyable bitter bite. This West-Coast IPA has a crisp finish thanks to our proprietary Pacman yeast also used in Dead Guy Ale. Not just any brew can live up to the Dead Guy name so we tweaked this recipe until it was an IPA to die for. Meet the newest member of the Dead Guy Family. IPAs are officially Dead.

12 fl. oz. can from the Beer Republic advent calendar. Cloudy dark golden with an one finger white head in the glass. Intensive fruity aroma, citrus and mandarine, pale grain. Taste starts with resin and pine, then increasing tropical, dry grape and yeast, some dray mango with a pale grain background. Long lasting hop bitterness to the end. Warming stuff.

Can from Loz's Beer Republic webshop and consumed at home Thursday 21st December 2023 listening to Huw Stephens Roundtable on 6Music and unbelievably still thinking about cooking a Thai Curry maybe a Massaman, Red or whatever the other is. Pours hazy warm gold with a white head. Nice piney and resinous edge, there are some light tropical touches a nice maltiness, it's a classic that I have only just tried, excellent IPA.

I quite like this; piney and resinous, but with lovely notes of sweet citrus and stone fruit, backed up by caramel and the telltale Pacman yeast esters. Finishes bitter and coniferous. Tasty.

Draft at Rogue Eastside. Pale copper pour, thin creamy off-white head. Light malty aroma, brown bread. Taste is malty, dry, lightest hop edge, faint bitterness. Was hoping for better.

Tap at Imazato. Amber-orange. Malty nose, caramel, oranges, biscuits. Creamy and malty, somewhat sweet, with lots of citrus. An interesting and tasty, hopped-up take on Dead Guy. Quite nice.
