Celebration Stout är en kraftig stout med mycket smak. I samband med att Poppels fyllde 10 år, ville vi skapa detta stora öl, förpackad på storflaska. Ölet har fatlagrats på bourbon- och romfat, vilket gett smak och doft såväl som balans och karaktär.

Big 750ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at a rating session with him, Synny, and lmojoh. Tan, bubbly, head over a deep black body, spotty lacing. Nice, inviting on the nose with toffee and roasted chocolate malts. Malt-driven, rich flavours of mocha chocolate, toffee, liquorice, and a backdrop of biscuit. Rounded roasted chocolate malty end, okay. Hidden alcohol. Well bodied. Pretty nice, rather sweet though. (Vervet, Tromsø, 11.05.2023).

Sort med beige skum som varer. Aroma vanilje kjeks sjokolade nøtter fatpreg. Smak sjokolade fatpreg whisky vanilje sjokolade. Fyldig, smaksrik, søtlig. Delt med Rune, Finn og Synny

Køl sort med mørk beige topp. Aroma; mørk sjokolade, lakris, karamell og kaffe. Smak; intens smak søtlig karamell, kaffegrut, karamell på ettersmak. Lett bitter Spandert av smak Vaniljesukker. Spandert av Finn, delt med Leif og Rune.

Bottle shared, thanks to Thijs. Black with small chocolate mousse head. Chocolate, sweet malts, rum, vanilla, all kinds of aromatic spices, marzipan, earthy roasted malts. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied.

ABV: 12.5%. Clear dark dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, barrel, rich. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate - coffee, caramel - syrup, barrel, rich. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230330]
