Bottle, thanks to Tom and Rene. It pours cloudy amber, with pretty much no head. The nose is smoke, ham, smoked cheese and caramel. The taste is caramel, resin, leaf, smoke, peat, alcohol warmth and a hint of citrus. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth. An interesting smoky beer..

Bottled (PBF)
Murky, nut brown color, tiny head. Tarry, smokey but also a bit sour nose. Medium-bodied. Licorice, alcohol, some tar. Liquerish palate. A bit rough, but has some potential. Slightly homebrewish.

Bottled (thanks TheWolf!). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is leathery, mild smoked wet wood, some slight earthy and mouly notes. Flavour is rather leathery, mild smoked wood, some quite strong alcohol as well.

Bottle. It pours a a clear, amber body and a small, off-white head. Smoked and woody nose with caramel and some alcohol. Dried fruits and a touch of phenols too. Flavorwise it goes in the same direction, caramel, smoke notes, alcohol and dried fruits. Full-bodied and warming. Might deserve an even higher rating, but not much higher. Yet another nice one from Kolding. 110621

Bottle at The Cad’s Pure Mad Rocket Mon The Beezer Tasting. Pours clearish, orange-red with no head. Modest smokiness in the nose, with some faint tartness as well. Very sweet flavor with caramel, light toffee, a more defined smoke character, and light fruits. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Finish is mildly warming and tingly with some lingering smoke and pleasant, malty sugars. Very nice and quite unique. (3.9)

Bottle shared at CBC 1st Birthday Party, London - thanks to The Wolf, maybe. Pours light, hazy golden-brown with a small, bubbly head. Nose holds light caramel and toasty smoke. Medium to big sweet flavor, some caramel, relaxed smoke, toast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Hammy finish, more caramel, mellow smoke, toasted bread. Nice. (3.7)

Hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, with a fruity note and lots of smoke. Same notes in the flavour with a pleasantly hoppy and rather bitter finish.
