250mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out soya sauce, dark dried cherries, and light tartness. Flavour is quite unsettling, with notes of vomit, cardboard, dried fruits, and some soy sauce. This is too old and oxidized, unfortunately. Not good.

Well, picked this up as an extra in Denmark from a very nice trader! almost no head, murky plum color pour. Nose is very lactic, loads of cherry. Very sour. TasteWow. Very sour with loads of cherries, lots of oakiness and tannins nutty finish. it’s interesting but not all that mind-blowing.

Bottle courtesy of Beerandblues2, thanks! Cloudy brownish maroon color, tan edge head. Aroma of sour cherries, lemon meringue, brandy. Taste is sweet and softly sour candied maraschino cherries, hints of cocoa and subtle coffee. Booze shows through.

Aroma is sour and tart with lots of cherries, some oaky notes, vinegar and hints of berries. Flavour is sour and somewhat tart with cherries, some juicy notes, berries, vinegar and distant oaky notes. Delicious!

Aroma has oaky notes, sour cherries, vinegar, wine notes and lactic acid. Flavour is rather tart and somewhat sour with cherries, oaky notes, lactic acid, red wine and some vinegar. Hides the ABV rather well.

Dirty dark red beer. Sour woody cherry nose. Dry crisp palate. Unsweet and slightly sour cherry with an edge of wood. Almost bitter not quite. An intense fruity beer but ultimately more interesting than inspiring.

Sampled @ SBWF 2011 on September 29. Pours a very hazy reddish brown colour with a small white head. Smell is complex and sour with vinegar, cherries and lightly burnt sugar. Taste is sweet with latex, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cherries, brown sugar and almonds. Lots going on that adds up to a nice sour.
