Previously named 'Kaura Stout'.
Alkavaan syksyyn Panimomestarimme loihti tasapainoisen ja täyteläisen Kaura Stoutin.
Tämä suodattamaton ja pikimusta pintahiivaolut on valmistettu neljästä eri maltaasta. Suuntuntuma on paahteinen, makeahko, runsas. Humaloinnissa on käytetty Styrian Goldings- humalaa.
... pieni erä, joten ole nopea ettet jää ilman.

Medium brown head. Nearly opaque black body goes translucent deep dark red at edges. Roasty chocolatey aroma with wild berry notes. Dry-sweet wild berry taste with roasty earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry chocolate and earth aftertaste with roasty mealy notes. Decent, but not very good. (0.33l bottle at Kamppi brewpub, Helsinki.)

A colabrown beer with a beautiful brown head, but sadly it’s almost disappearing. Aroma is familiarly strongly roasted, salt liquirice, rye bread, sweetness and hint of some metallic nuancees. Taste is strongly roasted, but medium sweetness balanced that nicely, some liquirice, smooth oats. Medium bodied, easy to drink. The positive surprise, nice balanced with sweetness and roastiness, also oat gives a smooth enjoyability.

Batch #019, BBE 19-07-2012 - Pours pitch black with a small bubbly light brown head. Aroma has some roasted malts, oatmeal and some metallic notes. Taste is quite malty and sweet with some roastiness, metallic notes and hints of chocolate and oatmeal. Finish is medium bodied and smooth, slightly hoppy. Okay, slightly unbalanced stout.
