Our Mastrobator is dark ruby, almost black, with a long-lasting foam and a spicy-chocolate scent. On the tongue it is very full-bodied and yet fresh, with a balanced caramel taste. In the end it leaves a strong, softly rounded, recent impression with a light and fine bitterness. Main fermentation in open fermentation tanks, maturation in horizontal storage tanks.

Aus der Dose (bbe 07.11.2026) im 2025-02 getrunken. Diese rotbraune Bock kommt mit einer typischen Karamell-Note daher. Aber leider hat es ein schwachen Körper, so daß dieses Bock nicht lange in Erinnerung bleibt.

440ml can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - clear amber body, off white top. Thick toffee and caramel malty character, boozy warmth, undertones of figs, malt loaf and prunes. Solid.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is toffee, caramel, brown malts, nutty notes, touch of vanilla, dried fruit and butterscotch. Sweet flavour with a light bitterness. Sweet but not bad, heavy on the toffee/butterscotch.

# 4472; 12/2024. Bried fruits, bread, slightly woody aroma. Murky copper body; beige head. Full body; dried fruits, dried sweet cherry, apricot, light alcohol warmth. Very balanced. Excellent Doppelbock! 0,33 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Denzlingen (Baden, Germany).

Can from random getränkemarkt. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is pretty sweet and slightly bitter.

Klare dunkelbraune rötliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger Geruch mit Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig mit Karamell. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Tap at Munich Tap House, 25th January 23. Pours a dark red brown. Aroma is sweet and malty. Taste is sweet, smooth, rich, some malts, light caramel, strong and deceptive, it’s alright, but not one I would have again.
