Half pint at El Tirador Toledo. Pours a thick, near opaque black with two fingers of brown head. Nose has malt, cocoa, some vanilla, roasted nuts and marzipan. Flavors follow. A little balsamic happening here. Medium full bodied, just off dry and reasonably long on the finish. Its good, but you don't get a ton of barrell.

can from gramophone bar, puerto de la cruz, tenerife. aroma of peanut butter, coffee grind, dark malts, a little hard roasted malts. flavor is vanilla, coffee grind, dark malts and hard roasted malts, end is coffee grind and hard roasted malts. somehow doesn't work as well as the individual parts, but ovearall a pretty decent imp stout. maybe the bourbon barrel is playing tricks, i can't really taste bourbon or barrel much, but perhaps they add notes that are a bit unusual and not seen as bourbon and barrel.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, smoked and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and lught bitter. Sweet finish. Soft. 100523

De color negro intenso y espuma tostada en nariz dominan las maltas torrefactas, regaliz y muy sutilmente vainilla y madera quemada. Sabor con amargor moderado, notas a granos de café, turba y a medida que coge temperatura se hace más presente el Bourbon. Final con leve sensacion alcohólica, torrefacto y con mucho cuerpo.
