Full bodied, savoury, dry cider with silky smooth tannins, hints of tobacco & spice, & a deep woody grain running through it. Heavily tannic, bittersweet cider apples from unsprayed Exe valley orchards, harvested in 2018, wild fermented in stainless steel, some then aged in French oak, then matured for a further 18 months in bottle. Wax dipped in pure beeswax from bee hives in the orchards, dyed red with beetroot.

750ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Clear orangey gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fleshy, mucky funk. Taste is apple, tangy, woody, leather, funk, with bittersweet drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
